Lobster Lovin’ at the 2017 Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show
Dubai Creek Marina will go #LobsterLoco this November as it hosts the 8th annual Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show, complete with an all-new, tasty LobsterFest.
The Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show returns to the Dubai Creek Marina from 9th– 11th November 2017, with a not-to-be-missed LobsterFest and a host of new family-friendly activities.
Sponsored by Noor Takaful, the 2017 edition promises to excite visitors even more than before. While the show will see great deals and opportunities for boat buyers and sellers alike, there is something for the whole family to enjoy over the event weekend.
“We’re thrilled to host the annual Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show for theeighth consecutive year – an event that has become a pillar of the Dubai event calendar. This year we have introduced LobsterFest to the show to ensure there’s something for everyone and there is no doubt that the calibre of vessels on display will exceed previous years,” comments Abdulla Ali Al Noon, Club Manager at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
The festivities kick-off at 4pm on Thursday, 9th November, with the newly introduced LobsterFest – a dedicated area within the event where guests can load-up on a variety of tasty lobster dishes from just AED 45. Entertainment will commence at 6:30pm and continue into the evening.
On the Friday morning, things get off to an early start with the ever-entertaining dragon boat races, starting at 7am. The event officially opens at 12pm when guests can again tuck into delicious lobster dishes, followed by an array of fun and exciting kids activities. This year, kids can run, play and create with various games, balloon activities, face painting, arts & crafts workshops, soft play areas, bouncy castles and an interactive petting zoo.
New to the event this year is the introduction of mum and kids yoga on The Island at 4pm, followed by a sunset yoga session on The Lawn – the perfect setting for a quick bit of family fitness.
Saturday, 11th November marks the conclusion of the event, but with loads of fun on the final day. The regular LobsterFest, kids activities, entertainment and yoga will be on offer on the last day, as well as the widely anticipated stand-up paddling races, which are a treat for guests who love to get wet.
The 2017 Dubai Pre-Owned Boat Show is open from 4pm to 9pm on Thursday, 9th November, and from 12pm to 9pm on Friday, 10th and Saturday, 11th November. Entry to the show is free of charge, although some activities may have nominal fees.
