Fitness Classes

Fit Lab boasts a brand new fitness studio where a number of highly qualified fitness instructors have been handpicked and employed to provide you with the very best in fitness training. Classes are also held outside on the lush areas surrounding the golf course.

Classes and personal training sessions can be booked on an individual basis or as a package of 10 classes with special rates.

Pilates Reformer and Mat

Pilates is a form of exercise that develops a strong, balanced body, focusing on improving the strength and stability of your core. In mat classes, the exercises are performed standing, seated,kneeling or lying down on back, side or front. Mat work is the foundation of all Pilates exercises and will build core strength and improve control, co-ordination and balance (both standing and seated). The class will provide a solid foundation of knowledge and a strong core in preparation for more challenging exercises to come, and will also in aid more supportive and healthy movement in your daily life. Reformer Pilates classes are conducted on a specialised piece of equipment called the Reformer. Clients are lying, kneeling or standing on a moving carriage connected to springs which give resistance and support.

Bharat Thakur's Artistic Yoga

The brainchild of Himalayan Yogi Bharat Thakur, Artistic Yoga is complete workout that targets all aspects of fitness including strength, endurance, flexibility, agility, coordinative ability and balance. Classes include breathing techniques, high intensity cardio, strength training, stretches and body part training.

Aqualates - The New Refreshing Workout

Emirates Golf Club Fit Lab welcomes Aqualates, a brand new fitness programme that mixes reformer with mat Pilates exercises and adapts them to the cooling water!

Aqualates is a challenging yet highly modifiable aquatic workout based upon Pilates exercises from the mat, reformer, cadillac, chair and barrel repertoires. This whole new workout is ideal for individuals suffering from any number of physical limitations, including high blood pressure, arthritis, osteoporosis or an injury.

Sessions are now available at Emirates Golf Club every Monday from at 9am to 10am (60 minutes duration).
