Takuya Taniguchi

Takuya began his professional golf career in 2002 after passing the Japan Professional Golfers' Association Tournament Protest. In 2003, he joined the Japan Golf Tour Organisation (JGTO) and competed in tour events until 2012. During this time, he secured two victories on the JGTO Regular Tour and one win on the JGTO Challenge Tour, with a peak world ranking of 200th.

Following his competitive career, he transitioned into coaching, providing expert lessons to professional golfers for 2.5 years. From 2019, he also worked as a tour caddie, helping players achieve two wins.

His coaching philosophy emphasizes swing analysis and tailoring techniques to each golfer's unique style, with a strong focus on improving the short game and mastering on-course management.
