Tommy Fleetwood Set to Defend Dubai Invitational Title at Dubai Creek Resort
Ryder Cup hero Tommy Fleetwood will return to Dubai Creek Resort from 15–18 January 2026 as he looks to defend his Dubai Invitational crown. Fleetwood, the reigning FedExCup Champion and seven-time DP World Tour winner, delivered a dramatic birdie–birdie finish at the inaugural edition in 2024 to edge out Ryder Cup team-mate Rory McIlroy on the final day in his adopted home of Dubai.
The Dubai Invitational will once again be staged at Dubai Creek Golf Club, a European Tour Destinations venue renowned for its striking setting and challenging layout. Ranked among the UAE’s top golf resorts, the course features the iconic par-four sixth hole standing on stilts above the creek and has previously hosted the Dubai Desert Classic in 1999 and 2000.
Serving as the opening event of the Race to Dubai’s International Swing, the bi-annual Dubai Invitational combines elite competition with a unique format. The event includes a three-day Pro-Am team competition before a professionals-only final day, bringing together 60 DP World Tour professionals and 60 amateurs. The tournament continues to enhance Dubai Creek Golf Club’s reputation, adding a prestigious chapter to its rich golfing history.
