Robbie Fowler Kicks off the 2018 FIFA World Cup at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and Emirates Golf Club
Sporting Legend to Host Opening Weekend of Events
In anticipation of the FIFA World Cup 2018 Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club and Emirates Golf Club are each hosting one off special events with former Liverpool and England sporting icon Robbie Fowler.
On Thursday 14th June, golfing and football fanatics are invited to the TAS World Cup Open Golf Day with the man himself atDubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club. Following this, guests will take their seats inLakeview where a pre-match Q&A will take place at 6:30pm, hosted by sports presenter Chris McHardy. Thereafter, guests are invited to enjoy a three-hour buffet dinner, inclusive of selected house beverages while witnessing all the action live from the opening game.Russia vs. Saudi Arabia will be aired live across multiple LED screens dotted through the venue, plus a large screen ensuring guests don’t miss an inch of the action.
On Friday 15th June, join Robbie Fowler for a brunch special at the Ultimate Fan Zone –Football Central at Emirates Golf Club. The purpose built two-story lounge will air all games live from Russia. From 12:30-4pm, football fans can warm up to the much awaited second match betweenUruguay vs. Egyptwith three enticing brunch packages from soft beverages for AED 185, to house beverages for AED 325 and those already in the mood for celebrating, champagne for AED 550 per person. Following the brunch Fowler will host a Q&A at 3:15pm further adding to the exciting build up. The highly anticipated match will be aired live across one giant and 12 extra-large screens throughout the venue.
