Tuck into a Taste of Spain with the newest additions to the menu at Casa de Tapas
Casa de Tapas, the city’s much-loved Spanish restaurant, well-known for serving up some of the most authentic Spanish cuisine, has introduced 16 new irresistible dishes, starting from only AED26 to its extensive menu. Executive Chef Francisco Borges has carefully crafted a range of new dishes that feature a mix of hot and cold tapas, traditional mains and hearty desserts.
Highlights from the cold menu tapas include, “Coca De Vegetales Rustidos Y Queso Semi Curado, aromatic sautéed vegetables and semi cured goats cheese served on thin slices of bread and ‘Ensalada de Pato” mixed Asian duck breast salad served on a bed of lettuce, topped with goats cheese, “pico” bread, cherry tomatoes and walnuts, drizzled with a tasty blackberry dressing.
From the hot tapas menu, “Huevos Estrellados Con Chorizo Del “Sr. Paco” sautéed potatoes in a rustic Spanish flavoured sauce, topped with a sunny side up egg and a side of chicken chorizo, “Pescaito Frito” deep fried whitebait fish Andalusian style, “Tigres Rellenos De Marisco” deep fried stuffed mussels and a mix of seafood sautéed in a delicious plate of simmering creamy white sauce, “Empanada De Atun” a delicious puff pastry stuffed with aromatically flavoured tuna, tomatoes and onions.
For mains, guests can enjoy five new delectable dishes such as “Paella Vegetal”a simmering pan of traditional paella served with a mix of aromatic vegetables, “Bacalao Gratinado” delicately baked cod fish topped with aioli dressing and served with a side of potatoes, “Atun Con Cebolla Tierna En Salsa Roemsco” pan fried tuna tossed in a bed of Romesco sauce and garnished with baby spring onions, “Gambones A La Plancha” sautéed giant prawns served with a seasoning of sea salt and “Canelones De Espinacas A La Catalana” mouth-watering cannelloni pasta cooked to perfection, served with spinach.
The dessert menu has also seen new additions including “Tarta De Manzana Con Helado De Vainilla” traditional Spanish apple tart served with a side of creamy vanilla ice cream and apple sauce, and “Tarta de Queso De La Abuela” which is a traditional Grandma’s special Spanish Cheesecake served with a rich wild berries sauce.
With the tapas dishes starting from AED26, guests can tuck into the extensive list of new dishes from Saturday - Thursday from the a la carte Menu, and also enjoy a selection at the Spanish Fiesta brunch every Friday afternoon from 12.30 pm – 4pm.
